It’s Official: I have joined the Poutine Army
Last Wednesday; I was finally able to go to Montreal Poutine and have one of their infamous poutines.
With the miserable weather we have been having; the timing could not have been better. Poutine is definitely in my top 10 comfort foods.
Their menu is quite extensive; I thought they sold only poutine, but they have plenty of other choices : burgers, hot dogs, pizzas, smoked meat, etc. In other words, something for everybody.
After much deliberation; I decided to go with the classic poutine : home fries, brown sauce and cheese curds. According to their menu; it is 100 % vegetarian.
The food arrived pretty quickly and I ate every morsel and enjoyed every bite.
It’s a nice cozy place with an eclectic decor.
I will most certainly be going back in the fall when in need of some comfort food.
