If I could turn back time; I would go back to the days when we had awesome parties at 650.
650 is my aunts’ home and the one where my dad and his 7 brothers and sisters grew up in. My two aunts still live there and for as long as I have been alive all parties and all holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving are celebrated at 650. Within our circles, if someone invites you to a party at 650, you know exactly where to go.
As a kid, I could not wait to go there knowing there would be music, singing and piano playing. As well, the house was filled with aunts, uncles and cousins(I have 25 in total).
Those were fun times where we were not connected to any machine 24/7 and we made do with what we had; which was not much. The house was always packed; you could barely move. On any given occasion there were at least 50 people in the house. The house was always filled with music and laughter. Oh the good times we had.
If I could turn back time …

Beautiful 🙂 we also had such a home .. our grand parents home. No Laptops, internet , phones or vdo games.. relationships were strong at that time and people need each other to live.
Everyone miss that time really.
Thank you. I do miss those parties.
