Daily Prompt : junk
I was just about to make yet another post about trash when I saw today’s daily prompt.
As I was coming back from my walk earlier this morning, I spotted this just outside the bus shelter.
To add insult to injury, there is a trash can no more than 6 inches away from where the bottle was left on the ground.
Seriously folks, pick up your trash and throw it in the trash bin.

I wish people would use trash cans.
Same here. *sigh*
Isn’t it strange that someone can throw trash on the ground, right next to a bin? I wonder why?
I think they were too drunk, but who knows?
Ach! they do it even when they aren’t drunk.
That’s true.
Somebody in my neighborhood continues to throw out McDonald’s bags on the side of the road. They never fail. Drives me nuts. Makes the entire place look trashy. Why can’t people just wait a little while until they find a trash bag?
I have no clue. Makes me nuts too. I don’t know if they are just lazy, ignorant or just don’t give a damn.
I took some photos of my hood over the weekend to use for a future post and I have at least 2 with McDonalds trash in them.
Have you ever heard the song Alice’s Restaurant? It’s long but hilarious and it’s about littering, but on a slightly bigger scale. 🙂 I’m laughing just remembering. I do hate littering, though. I often pick up garbage not my own.
I have not listened to it in a long time. Littering is a huge problem here. Thanks for the comment and the follow 🙂
[ Smiles ] Hmmm. I wonder: who left their junk behind?
I’m guessing someone who was on their way home from a party.
