Good evening boys and girls, tonight, we will review on how to correctly open the back door on the bus.
When the light is not on as shown below, there is no point in doing anything as the doors won’t open. I especially love it when the bus has not even come to a full stop and people are already banging the crap out of the handles and get all ticked off that the doors won’t open. Bonus points for yelling to the bus drivers to open the doors.
When the green light is on as shown below, gently put some weight on the handles and the doors will open. Once again, there is no need to beat the crap out of the handles or to yell out that the doors won’t open, be a little patient and they will.
And some people wonder why the doors end up not working, duh !!!
if wishing could make it so….
haha, so true … They pound on those handles as if they were behind bars or something.
WITH lights and they can’t wait for a full stop? Do they also fall out of cars just before reaching the driveway?
Who the heck knows? I’ll try to record one of these numbskulls one of these days.
Or you could be like me. I’m the good girl who stands there waiting for the doors to open. Take yesterday on the Paris Metro. We pulled into the station and I stood by the exit door without moving. Finally, with a Parisian snort that needed no translation, a little old lady shoved me aside, pulled up the door latch, and stepped out of the train. I trailed in shame.
LOL, that happened to me in Barcelona last month. Don’t feel bad.
